What you can experience ?
Kamalaya’s programmes focus on detox, yoga, stress and burnout, fitness and weight control; alongside a daily schedule of holistic activities ranging from Thai flower arrangement and language instruction to Thai floating lantern ceremonies and an exploration of local temples.
“Asian Bliss” synergises Ayurveda, traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Thai therapies and exercise. The “Relax and Renew” programme is designed for when we need a “time and place to step back from our lives and recover balance, relax, renew our energy and replenish our spirit.” Kamalaya’s research-based, detox programmes bring together medical science and holistic therapies. For a personalised wellness experience, a team of international naturopaths can help to create a bespoke program from an extensive range of holistic medicine, spa and healing therapies.
To get out for fresh air and a bit of exercise, step into nature on a 5-km hike along a local trail passing through jungle and beaches, or join the “2011 Herbs, Butterfly & Bird-Watching Course,” which teaches you how Kamalaya grows and uses Thai herbs in the spa programmes, the cuisine and herbal drinks.
You can choose out of 9 different types of rooms, from the hill side room to the double sea view bedroom villas, all are luxurious, elegantly designed and offer all amenities of an up market hotel.

Housekeeping uses eco-friendly cleansers and, bathroom amenities are 100% natural. The resort recycles everything that can be, uses water saving taps, shower heads, and energy saving light bulbs. The resort encourages newlywed guests to plant coconut trees, and organises beach cleaning days.
Kamalaya also proactively supports local food suppliers, drivers, tour guides, wedding planners, diving, kickboxing and wakeboarding businesses. Kamalaya staff can consult free of charge with doctors and naturopaths. They may participate with guests in activities ranging from fitness, yoga, language instruction, lectures and cooking demonstrations.
Kamalaya joined the Green Island Foundation; actively supports government initiatives and supports a pioneering “low carbon school” project which educates primary school children on environmental issues and social responsibility as well as giving schools a chance to earn money.
